We all know that if we change the oil in our cars regularly, they will last a lot longer. Self care makes our bodies last longer and run faster as well.
Did you know that elderly wheelchair bound residents of a nursing home were able to walk again after they started a regular exercise program? Research on physical degeneration and aging has demonstrated that the loss of bodily functions with age is the result of decreased physical activity rather than aging itself. All such degenerative changes were reversible and preventable with regular physical exercise. Use it or Lose It!!!!
